Pineapple, The Description

The Pineapple has been around in one shape or form since 1868 when it was a popular Victorian drinking house. Since then times have certainly changed and now, although still a free house, The Pineapple is home to a rather fine dining room located on its first floor. The Victorian fireplaces and ornate marble remain thanks to their recently acquired Grade II listing and are now balanced with modern lines and elegant hues. The menu is a traditional British one listing comforting classics such as Lancashire hotpot, rabbit pie and slow roasted belly of pork with traditional apple sauce. Puddings are familiar too with that much loved classic, sticky toffee pudding.
