There's something about The Pit and Boardriders' Grill that makes people want to reach within and touch their own dreams. Born out of entrepreneurs Ben and Steve's unstoppable passion for surfing and hanging out at the beach all day, the place is a standing testament to the idea that if the dream is big enough, the facts don't count. Abandoning a career in graphic designing and marketing respectively, Ben and Steve proceeded to build what is now a full-fledged surf shop, restaurant and entertainment centre in the Big Road, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.

Specializing in California style wraps, the Boardriders' Grill has a good selection of tasty food that's great value for money. The rasta wrap, seize her, ceasar, Steve's chicken sammy, da killer quesadilla are some of the favourites and vegetarians have a long list of delicious inventions to choose from as well. The restaurant also comes with a full bar with draft beer and an extensive wine list. Come here for some good food, good music, good surfing and good company.
