Pizza Piazza - Charing Cross Road Description

The Charing Cross Road branch of this small but impressive pizza chain is a smart yet affordable place to dine, especially if you have a real appreciation for quality pizzas. Here they specialise in stone baked pizzas, cooked the traditional way, whilst toppings include all the classics as well as plenty of more adventurous tastes, such as hoi sin duck and Thai chicken. Aside from the pizza menu there's a good range of pasta dishes, a rich oven baked cheese fondue dish and plenty of healthy main course salads. Like the food, the wine is good quality and reasonably priced, making Pizza Piazza an all round good choice for informal dining.

The food was very good and the staff were friendly and pleasant, but it was disappointing as they were trying to accommodate too many people at the same time. We were moved twice, once while half way through eating our meal, to other tables so they could bring in bigger groups. They used our table candle stub to light various other candles over our heads, as we were eating and then asked for £3.50 cover charge on the bill.
