Plateau Description
Plateau Restaurant and Bar and Grill sits in a prime location at the top of Canada Place offering fantastic views over Canada Square. The 1950s inspired interior with its full glazed frontage provides both a touch of Manhattan glamour and an oasis of calm above the hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf. The restaurant offers a modern French menu, with separate vegetarian options, while the Bar and Grill serve more heartier dishes.

Romantic Friday evening for two. Incredible setting with unusual views of Canary Wharf. Both of us chose the tasting menu (£58 each) which was a little steep for the four courses which followed. Some of the food was exceptional, for example the sea bass with mushroom broth however others were overcomplicated and at times over salted. The waiters and sommelier were attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing and were worthy of the "obligatory" 12.5% service. Our total bill including wine and port was £168. A good choice for a special occasion, but you'll need to accept that a hefty bill will be waiting.
