It is the best fish restaurant ever. Nick has done wonders with this place and his father would be most pleased.

I live in the area and eat at Platters often. They have the best fish and chips I have ever eaten, and I have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and although the restaurant is fairly basic the quality of the food is second to none. It is always busy and my only real criticism would be that the restaurant is on the small side.
