We arrived at Porto after being recommended by a friend. The smiling waitress greeted us and showed us upstairs to our table. We ordered the tomato soup and parfait then, pappardelle, scallops and calves liver. The soup may be simple but was the best soup I have ever had. The mozzarella and pesto were a really different touch to the regular dollop of cream. My liver was also cooked perfectly to my liking. My wife loved the parfait and asked about the bread with it. The waitress told us it was home made. Her pappardelle with scallops were also really good. However there was a little bit too much pasta if I am being critical. We then ordered cheeseboard. We were told about the available cheese and selected a few. This place is a definite to visit whilst in the Lakes.
