Just experienced Portafino. Asked for a mirror at reception desk as I was ignored whilst waiter socialised with his friends, needed to check I hadant become invisible! Told our table was upstairs, not escorted. Ignored by two waiters, finally showed to table by nice waitress. Ordered drinks, waiter brought wrong drinks when told he said 'you must be joking'! Nice service that! Place full of faux leopordskin women trowelled in makup and loud hooray henrys. However, food very good but if you want good service, and food as good if not better go to Boscos or Pizza Express!

We booked a meal on Saturday in October for twenty eight persons at Portofino – Lytham Street Annes. The food and service was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the service was first class. We had a fabulous time and could not have asked for anything more. All twenty-eight of us would certainly go back for more! Thanks again Portofino!
