Formerly an imposing Victorian Gin Palace, Princess Victoria has been lovingly restored to its former glory by new owners Matt Wilkin and James McLean. The stunning dining room is awash with natural daylight from two ornate stucco roof-lights. By night, old paintings, carved gilded mirrors and subtle candlelight really bring this room to life. A dramatic fourteen seat antique oak table is the centerpiece of the room, surrounded by an eclectic mix of antique wooden tables and chairs. To the rear of the venue is a pretty, walled herb garden where the scents of rosemary, mint and lavender mix to create a perfect place to relax.

The kitchen serves classic British dishes from UK sourced ingredients. Choices range from a perfectly glazed potted crab and rib-eye steak with triple cooked chips to mouth-watering sticky toffee pudding flavoured with fresh ginger. A traditional roast, cooked to perfection is served on Sundays.
