There are salsa, mambo and meringue nights; romantic evenings of Argentinean tango; exhibitions of Latin American paintings, sculpture and photography; wine tastings and cooking classes held throughout the week.

The food and drink add a special touch to the evening - consider savouring sangria; Cuba's favourite mojito, and late night tapas as you dance and sing Latin rhythms or play a game of dominos. Share small plates of Caribbean root malanga chips, lime seared tuna; green mango cured salmon, spicy poached shrimp, salted cod, roasted pork with clove ham and chayote pickles, crisp duck confit, empanadas, mahi mahi and chorizo skewers, fried foie gras, and grilled hanger steak skewers.

Pura Vida hosts private parties for groups from 25 to 100 people.
