happened by chance to stumble on a new restaurant in stockbridge called purslane, its very casual and laid back in the dining room and the food brings a classier edge. to start i had the tea encrusted wild boar, which was fantastic, for mains the mokeyfish cheeks with red lentil dhal which agian the pickled carrots bought a freshness to the dish. to finish i was torn between the chocolate and the intresting sounding 'taste of christmas' went for the taste of christmas (brandy snap basket, homemade mincemeat and christmas pudding ice cream) amazing!! great value for £25.95
