Queens Arms, The

The Queen's Arms is a genuine village pub, offering friendly, professional service with style and ambience, situated in the heart of the Somerset countryside, where they serve good local, seasonal food cooked to order alongside a selection of ales and ciders and great glugging wines.

Situated in the sleepy village of Pitminster, at the foot of the Blackdown Hills, the Queen's Arms combines the traditional warm welcome of an English country pub with continental style.

They aim to use only the best, locally produced ingredients, fish is delivered daily from Brixham and their meat, game and vegetables are all from Somerset. They have a selection of ales and ciders from the South West and a good choice of wines from award winning wine merchant, Christopher Piper Wines.

With its oak and slate floors and roaring winter log fires, the Queen's Arms is a thoroughly delightful place to meet, eat and drink. The cosy Lounge Bar and Mill Bar are ideal for private parties and meetings, with painted stone walls, slate floors and country furniture. And the Queen's Arms also has a skittle alley, which doubles up as a function room.

If that wasn't enough, there is a continental style patio garden with pots of geraniums mixed with herbs and vegetables, a great place for sipping a glass of wine or a cool beer.
