Radcliffe Arms, The Description
The Radcliffe is populated largely by the student fraternity who flock here in great numbers to enjoy the bonhomie and the incredibly cheap food. As such others in search of 'atmosphere' or cheap food also congregate there. The result is a happy, busy place with honest wholesome food, nothing exotic (except possibly some of the students) but a real buzz. This is particularly true on Sundays at lunchtime.

This little pub always makes me happy. The good old home cooked food is basic but fantastic.

Cheap and cheerful Sunday roast (vegetarian option available) means get there early (12 - 12.30 pm) or you'll not get a table. Also have sports screens up. Popular with students because of the prices.
