Rajdoot - Bristol
2 Unite House, Frogmore Street, Bristol, BS1 5NA
Closed for renovation. The Rajdoot is part of a small family chain of exceptionally good Indian restaurants. The appeal of the place is immediate from the moment you enter the restaurant. The décor gives a real taste of the Raj and the exotically decorated drinks and waiting area makes for an enjoyable place to meet up with friends before being seated at your table. On the menu you'll see listed all the Indian classics as well as specialities such as, chilli garlic duck and chicken badami cooked with spiced almonds and cashew nut paste. They also serve a good value three course lunch for £9.95.Indian

REVIEWS OF Rajdoot - Bristol
Malcolm Belfield (23 August 2008)
My wife and I have been eating there fairly regularly since 1969, when it first opened on Park Street Bristol. The food has always been excellent and the service so good it seems to belong to a world apart. My wife particularly likes seafood and the quality and range of dishes is just to her taste. The duck tikka is to die for. It is simply beautifully spiced food made from fine ingredients and well-prepared. Forget the local Indian curry house - this stuff is special. We have yet to be disappointed, and, after nearly four decades of patronage do not expect to be.
