Rasa Maricham which is located within the Holiday Inn at King's Cross Road is their first and highly successful attempt at creating a concept restaurant; this one is based on pepper, the evocative Indian spice which is fondly or euphemistically called black gold.

The menu features a delightful range of starters, crunchy snacks such as vadais, fried lentil dumplings or bondas, spiced and mashed potatoes dipped in chickpea flour and fried. Don't miss the stir fried prawn masala cooked with ginger, curry leaves, chilli and tempered with crushed black pepper and fresh lemon juice and appams, spongy rice pancakes perfect for soaking up the delicious curries. Finish with the creamy payasam, a delectable concoction of rice cooked in boiling milk with cashew nuts and raisins.
