Ravello

This veteran of Italian cuisine is located on London's Old Street and has a staunch group of followers, people who love simply prepared authentic and regional fare prepared from the highest quality produce and ingredients. Ravello has been a firm favourite since 1970 for its range of delicious dishes, pastas and seafood options, all served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The year 2005 saw a marked change in decor with modern artwork depicting the traditional style and finest dishes from the Campania region.

From the menu, choose starters of king prawns cooked with garlic, wine and extra virgin olive oil followed by tagliatelle with braised beef, tomato and sage. Further down, there's an interesting selection of secondi, grilled T bone steak with fried potatoes or medallions of veal with apple, crushed black pepper and parmesan mash. Finish with the zabaglione or crepes suzette and choose from the fabulous range of drinks at Ravello, featuring Italian wines and beers as well as limoncello, the famed lemon liqueur from Campani.
