I had a super meal at Red Chard - tapas starter shared with my husband, soup in a teacup, pâté and crayfish cocktail with complementary warm special bread with oil and balsamic - lovely. We had lobster off the specials board - never had it before, really enjoyed the meal. I would go there again.

Once again, Matthew, Lucy and the staff produced a fantastic meal for our gourmet evening. To cook for 3 or 4 persons well is a sign of a good chef but to cook for 30 persons, all to a superb standard, is a sign of a superb chef! The terrine of salmon and sole was pure velvet, the gazpacho was refreshing, the venison was cooked to perfection, and the dessert and cheeseboard were to the same standard.
