Red Fort Description

One look at the name and first impressions are of an enormous, majestic fort, akin to the World Heritage Site in India, and yes, this Fold Street venue is just that. Red Fort is believed to be the largest Indian restaurant in Midlands decked out in red stones, lanterns, chandeliers and a host of other exciting features like a murals and a 15 feet high waterfall.

The menu likewise is gargantuan in proportion and the tandoori platter of chicken and lamb tikka, seekh kebab, tandoori king prawns and vegetable pakoras for two to share open the proceedings. This is bolstered by an excellent choice of main courses such as achari chicken karahi cooked with freshly chopped garlic, green chillies, aromatic ginger and mixed pickle, lamb rogan josh, and king prawn vindaloo.

India's famous landmark, the Red Fort, makes a stunning backdrop at the champagne bar where guests could assist the digestion with a post dinner drink.
