Red Lion Inn, The Description

This well-organised and friendly pub on the edge of the Peak District is well-known for its value for money food which ranges over a wide menu, with imaginative interpretations of traditional dishes well supplemented by good old standard comfort food. Guests dine in either the oak beamed bar area or the lighter conservatory.

A good wine list supports and there is the usual selection of wholesome, well kept ales. Surrounded by beautiful walking country, The Red Lion Inn is close to Carsington Water, Britain's newest reservoir and provides an ideal base for exploration.
