I felt this place is a real let down. The food wasn't particularly inspiring but was quite expensive. The members of staff were clearly uninterested in providing personal and friendly service and seemed concerned with getting through the evening. The bar service prior to the meal was terrible and I had to wait for more than fifteen minutes for a drink with only a few people in the bar. There was only one bar man who doubled as a waiter. I'm a big fan of Marriott and stay in their hotels several times but this was not up to their usual standard.

This is average and not a fine dining restaurant. Amateur staff and an appalling standard of cleanliness stop this from being a far better restaurant. At no time was my wine glass topped up during my meal here. A terrine starter on a bed of red cabbage was pleasant enough, however the duck breast main was cold and came with a separate skin that was neither crispy nor appetizing. The restaurant also serves breakfast and the level of cooking remains poor. They are perfectly situated; however, the food is a let down. It is only worthy of a visit if you’re staying there and not paying for the meal yourself.
