Restaurant 7teen & Deli
17 Queen Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1JT
The recently rebuilt Restaurant 7teen and Deli can be found in the centre of Carmarthen in a beautiful Grade I listed Georgian building. The welcoming haven attracts customers from different walks of life - couples, groups, shoppers, and professionals - all pleased by 7teens warm atmosphere and tasty Welsh and gourmet food. The emphasis is on local game and seafood, and the menu that changes up to thrice a week depending on the season consists of two and three-course specials at lunchtime and a full á la carte in the evening. Lunchtime choices could include local picked mussels in a white wine and cream garlic sauce, and braised steak on a bed of mash with a red wine and mushroom gravy. The recently rebuilt Restaurant 7teen and Deli can be found in the centre of Carmarthen in a beautiful Grade I listed Georgian building. Lunchtime choices could include local picked mussels in a white wine and cream garlic sauce, and braised steak on a bed of mash with a red wine and mushroom gravy. In the evening, a mixed game terrine with warm onion marmalade could appear alongside lightly curried creamed parsnip soup and a main course of lemon sole fillet.
The oven-baked chocolate mousse infused with orange, ginger and hazelnut and topped with white chocolate sauce and strawberry tastes as good as it sounds. A clearly compiled drinks list embraces some fine numbers.

REVIEWS OF Restaurant 7teen & Deli
Lin (3 August 2011)
The restaurant was such a surprise and a wonderful find tucked away in Carmarthen! The food was really good, beautifully cooked and presented with care. The chef made a special effort to cater for a gluten free diet. Really recommended for this! The beef was so tender and home made pate was fab. The decor was lovely and had special touches, like in the bathroom individual towels etc. It had a very modern but cosy feel. Will head for this restaurant whenever we're in the area.
Karen Donohue (30 August 2010)
Restaurant 7teen has an up to the minute feel within a traditional setting. The ambience is warm and welcoming, yet exciting. The decor reflects the love and care that has gone into producing a very unique and special place. It is obvious that the owners have invested not just money but their hearts into this little gem. The food was excellent using local produce and the prices very affordable with generous portions and carefully selected choices which change frequently. The staff were friendly and very attentive which made for a really enjoyable afternoon. I would highly recommend this place to anyone living in or visiting Carmarthen!
