This privately owned small hotel, convenient for the centre of Windsor, has a conservatory restaurant which, on the right sort of evening, looks out over the illuminated water gardens. Their avowed aim is to do everything properly, a target that is certainly achieved in the kitchens and beyond. The classic dishes are to the fore, with occasional excursions into interesting variations. A wine list to match with house wine at £10.95.
