Restaurant at Brooklands Grange Hotel Description
A former Jacobean farmhouse, Brooklands has been adapted and extended so that much of its ancient charm remains to delight those who come here to dine. Bearing in mind that it is first and foremost a hotel for business use the menu has survived the process well and the food emerges as well-flavoured and not over-frilled. Due deference is paid to contemporary taste. The elegant, candlelit dining room overflows into a conservatory - be advised and book a table inside. An adequate wine list with house wine at £9.50.

What a disappointment! A colleague recommended the restaurant, so I took my mum and her friend out for a birthday celebration. The meal was served in tiny portions, and it was over cooked, greasy and strangely presented. The meal took fifty five minutes to arrive, which was a surprise as there were only three other couples dining. We were however not asked to pay for the meals, which we did not eat.

I have eaten here a number of times now and the food has always been excellent, so has the service.
