Restaurant at Crown Inn Description

The Crown Inn is a great favourite of those seeking the magic delights of the Suffolk coastal countryside, music at the Maltings, or food that is worthy of travel. Formerly the haunt of smugglers it is now much more likely to offer shelter to the culinary cognoscenti to whom trustworthy food in rustic surroundings is the right sort of meat and drink.

Emphasis is on seasonal produce of the country with fresh fish, game and organically produced food in the lead. Some of the more notable dishes include Cromer crab risotto, local mussels, steak and kidney pudding, honey roast duck with red cabbage and apple, to say nothing of the homemade puddings and ice cream.

Value for money is exceptional.
