My wife and I stayed on a Saturday night at Dale Head Hall and had what was described as a five course meal (starter, sorbet, main, sweet and coffee). My wife had a cheese board, which had a supplement of £6.50, and our coffee served in the lounge also included a supplement of £2.50 each. There was a choice of two starters and two main courses of sea bass or lamb, not much of a choice for someone who does not like fish. At £40 a head, the meal was well cooked and presented but not very good value for money.
