Gidleigh Park is nestled away in 45 acres of Dartmoor National Park, with idyllic views of the valley below the hotel, and the woodland to the rear, making this one of the most sought out getaway destinations in the UK.
The restaurant itself is considered one of the finest in the country, and holds 2 Michelin stars. The newly refurbished Gidleigh Park now has three beautiful dining rooms, with one of them incorporating a wine wall, which complements the restaurant's wine list, itself is regarded as one of the five best in the country.
Since 1994, critically acclaimed Executive head chef Michael Caines MBE has been at the helm of the Kitchen at Gidleigh Park, where he and his dedicated team of professionals, strive to create the dishes which have earned him his two Michelin stars, with influences from British and Mediterranean cuisine, and using only the finest of local produce.
