Not exactly the sort of address at which you might expect to find cuisine from the great sub-continent, nor indeed is it entirely. But the influence is very much there and the flavours are all around you, even with the pink-roast breast of duck or the rainbow trout. Go, try it! It is fascinating how everything blends together to make really interesting and unusual dishes. The same can be said of the wine list, which, whilst keeping reasonable in price, makes few concessions to quality.

I have never been able to fault the Grafton in any way, one of life's great experiences. The food is always exquisite, the service quietly charming and unobtrusive and the ambience pleasant and rich. The annual Indian food festival is not to be missed. I always leave with a sense of satisfaction and wellbeing.
