The King's Head located in the small village of Llangennith, the surfing capital of Gower is a family owned restaurant comprising of a row of three 17th century buildings behind a splendid rough stone wall. Within easy access to Llangennith beach, the restaurant features ancient beams and exposed stone walls, quaint wooden furniture, and a homely atmosphere. An impressive variety of seasonal and fresh food is served, nearly all of it homemade and of fresh Welsh produce.

Covering a number of cuisines, the local British fare is represented by pies of steak and kidney, and oven baked salmon steaks. A number of pasta and pizza dishes are also available. The speciality cuisine served by the restaurant includes dishes of green Thai chicken curry with cashews or Goan chicken in creamy coconut and pineapple sauce. Curry aficionados can choose from the Madras beef curry or the Vietnamese fish curry with coconut milk and spices.

To quench the thirst, guests can indulge in a large selection of beers, single malts and ales both locally and from abroad.
