A comfortable, spacious country house hotel, surrounded by lovingly cared-for gardens, with a choice of places to eat. For sunny days there is the conservatory and on dark winter evenings the natural warmth of the oak-panelled restaurant comfortably enfolds you. Comfort is a word that might well be applied to much of the excellent food, not least the outrageous desserts which must have been the final cause of many a case of departure-delayed-until-the-morning. Decent wine list with house wine at £12.50.

Both my daughters wedding receptions were held there - first class food and service. I had many evening and lunch time meals there. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful, and they ensure that the service is second to none. I give them full marks!
