A delightful dining room shares the views out over the water and offers sound, reliable food without frills and furbelows to firm local support, well topped up by the many visitors who flock to this beautiful part of coastal Sussex. A typical main course could be breast of duck with quince and plum sauce accompanied by an enterprising range of vegetables over which much care has been taken. The wine list is no lightweight and the house wine comes in at £11.50.
