We stayed at the hotel for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as the restaurant described itself as a fine food establishment, we decided to eat there. We were the only ones in, which should really have been an omen. The food was edible, and that is the best I can say about it. I've never had such average food at such an expensive price. I ordered sea bass and received a portion of fish, which I couldn't recognize on a pile of watery cauliflower, carrot and potatoes. My wife ordered a chicken dish, which was a small piece of breast cut up and fanned out to make it look more, served with three boiled potatoes in their skins and a pile of broccoli pesto with no sauce. As I didn't want to ruin our evening, I didn't complain, but later wished I had, especially when I saw what looked like an identical piece of fish in a supermarket. So much for fresh fish cooked to order. Not what I expected and very disappointed.
