As a local boy to Usk, I have often had the pleasure of going out and settling down at the Royal with friends. Whether it is going for a sit down meal or merely having a drink and a chat with a friend, The Royal offers an excellent atmosphere for both scenarios. It’s definitely one to try out at least once.

We ate there last night and the food was truly amazing. I think it was the best steak I have ever eaten without a doubt, it just melted in your mouth. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be eating there again and would recommend it. I suggest you book to get a table. It’s well worth a visit or two.
