Restaurant at Stower Grange Hotel

School Road, Drayton, Norwich, NR8 6EF

The Stower Grange Hotel in Drayton is a remarkable country hotel, 4 miles from the centre of Norwich and its proximity to the Norwich International Airport makes it an ideal choice for business meetings and conferences. Of course, its beautiful grounds are perfect for holding romantic weddings and the eleven luxurious bedrooms offers all the comforts that you would expect. They have an excellent bar and restaurant, where typically you could saunter in for a delightful English breakfast with sausages, eggs and bacon. Sunday lunch tends to be more traditional and where possible, local ingredients add their unique flavour to the dishes. From the à la carte menu, there might be starters of open ravioli of tiger prawns with a light tomato and chilli sauce followed by a main course of medallions of pork with caramelised apples, French beans and shallots accompanied by a cider cafe au lait.

REVIEWS OF Restaurant at Stower Grange Hotel

Ally (8 January 2009)

We had our work Christmas party at Stower Grange Hotel. All in all it was a great night - possibly due to how much everyone drank! I would recommend it for the whole experience. However, some of the food was a bit odd. Starters were nice, mains were served with typical Brussels sprouts, etc shovelled on by the waiter and particularly not fond of the turkey I had which came wrapped like a sausage and sliced up with the sausage - like ends on full display - looked grim but tasted okay. Puddings were nice though. The members of staff were friendly and the evening disco was good fun. I would not rush back to eat there - but would enjoy another similar Christmas party.
