Restaurant at The Brudenell Hotel Description
The Brudenell Hotel on the Suffolk coastline at the Southern end of Aldeburgh is a lovely place to stopover, relax and smell not just the roses but the sea as well. Whether it's for a weekend break or a business meeting, this charming hotel with its numerous luxuries and comforts is the perfect choice. Marvellous views of the sea, the River Alde and the surrounding marshlands greet guests from most bedrooms whilst their 2 AA rosette awarded restaurant, The Bru, is a delight for gourmands.
The cuisine follows seasonal trends and everything is sourced from local suppliers. The ambience is informal and guests can enjoy starters of Suffolk salami and Parma ham quiche with local salad leaves followed by a main course of whole roast red leg partridge with game chips and sweet redcurrant jelly. Desserts such as apple bavarois with grapefruit sorbet help end the meal on a sweet note and the wine list at The Bru brings an eclectic selection from the New and Old Worlds.

This is a great restaurant, with superb and freshly cooked food. The atmosphere is good and provides wonderful views - whether you are dining inside or outside, on the stunning terrace. The staff too are good. It offers a good range of food and wine, with some unusual as well as popular ones.

We really love the restaurant: a) the ambience is so delightful and the view from the lower level is directly across the sea. b) Most of the team are young and they are excellent c) The food has always been of a very high standard and is well presented.
