Restaurant at The Cobbles Inn
7 Bowmont Street, Kelso, TD5 7JH
Located in the heart of the market town of Kelso in the Scottish borders, The Cobbles is a small and friendly pub-restaurant serving authentic Scottish fare. The beautiful and quaint white-washed inn is housed in a renovated 19th century coaching house leading into a dining space that is warm and welcoming. The fresh and locally sourced food and welcoming bar attracts people from near and far and caters to small as well as large groups of friends and families. The bar menu is varied and combines classic British seafood dishes of beer battered haddock or retro prawn cocktail with more adventurous Pacific Rim fare such as Thai panang curry. The lunch menu includes peppered sirloin minute steak with chunky-cut chips; three cheese macaroni with smoked bacon and braised leeks, a range of sandwiches on toasted ciabatta as well as the chef's daily changing blackboard specials such as braised shin of border beef, locally-reared pork and leek meatballs and the daily fish special.Located in the heart of the market town of Kelso in the Scottish borders, The Cobbles is a small and friendly pub-restaurant serving authentic Scottish fare.
