The restaurant is situated in the 400 year old farmhouse hotel, when full it only accommodates fifty covers. The menu changes frequently but can loosely be described as modern British. During the week they offer a reasonable fixed price men, two courses for £16, three for £19; however, on Fridays and Saturdays they have a la carte menu, with typically 5 or 6 choices per course.

The food is all freshly prepared daily using as much local and free range produce as possible. The restaurant appeals to those looking for a romantic quiet evening, but can also cater for parties who want private dining. A great feature is that pre and post dinner drinks can be taken in the snug bar or the light airy conservatory overlooking the beautifully tended garden.
