The Crown Bar with its open fire and ancient beams, is a lively spot to drop in for a drink or a light meal from the bar menu; whether you eat casually in the bar or conservatory, or more formally in the restaurant, every meal at The Crown is freshly prepared from the best ingredients. In fine weather, you can sit outside on their sheltered sun deck for an almost Mediterranean ambience.
The Crown Restaurant offers a fine dining experience and they can cater for large groups in the private dining function room. With a mix of excellent Euro Asian food, fine service and an extensive wine list, you are guaranteed to enjoy a visit to The Crown.

The hotel exhibits a dilapidated air. A good lick of paint and refurbishment would not go amiss. The staff are pleasant and willing but the menus are not exciting. Plain cooking is very evident and the area for bar snacks is not smoke free, unfortunately.
