Hotel is on harbour front and during summer months has tables outside which give an air of being on the Continent. Restaurant menu varied and interesting with food well cooked and presented, the menu is only served at set times in the bar, but a typical bar menu is on offer most of the day, in surroundings that are very congenial. The Bar, which is cosy and welcoming, has recently been refurbished, but still remains quaint with loads of character. The Crown is well worth a visit.

The food is absolutely amazing; try the scallops in a white wine sauce with lobster. This is worth the visit just to sample seafood that is fresh and extremely well prepared. Excellent.
