Restaurant at The Dragon House Hotel

Located on the edge of Exmoor it is not too difficult to imagine the world of Lorna Doone at the end of the garden leading away from this beautiful house.

Within everything is as it should be and as well as the hotel there are holiday cottages, which could be handy since children under 14 are not encouraged in the hotel itself.

In the magnificent panelled dining room locally inspired dishes form a major part of the menu, with game, fish and meats allied to herbs from their own garden, giving rise to rillette of rabbit, cream of turnip soup or a chicken liver parfait.
