The Restaurant at The Gibbon Bridge is renowned for its fine surroundings overlooking 23 acres of award-winning gardens. Proprietor, Janet Simpson, and a dedicated team of chefs, carefully prepare delicious cuisine using local produce and vegetables and herbs from the hotel's kitchen garden.
Private dining is a speciality of the hotel with a selection of rooms perfect for any occasion. For "Something Different" you are able to book private 'al fresco' parties, for between 10 and 16 people, when Janet Simpson presides over hot charcoals to bring you an array of mouthwatering dishes.

I have nothing but praise for Janet and her team at Gibbon Bridge. I spent four nights there with the finest of food and delightful service. The rooms and facilities are of the highest quality and the gardens and flower arrangements are a delight.

I had some delicious cheese souffle to start with and the duck main course was good, but the beef fillet dry and bland. The desserts tasted average and the service was dreadful. The dining room appeared characterless with tacky 'supermarket music' playing.
