Pretentious staff and ideas. Served by someone in a green apron who had been serving behind the bar. Soup was tepid and we were told that chef said it should be served that way. No condiments at the table - chef says they are unnecessary! Main course lukewarm, tiny and no vegetables(we are vegetarian) but we were informed that IF WE REALLY NEEDED ANY we could pay extra and have something, but, yes you've guessed, chef feels that his meals are balanced. A friend who went just for a snack in the bar paid £9.00 for a crab & prawn sandwich which contained, two prawns and a miniscule amount of crabmeat.
