The Earl of Aylesbury had Ivy House built in 1707 and it has undergone the transition from aristocrat's house to quality hotel with élan. A Palladian restaurant provides the setting for well-prepared and attractive meals, with happy combinations and displays of imagination. It was an absolutely fantastic experience, the food, the service, the setting and the staff are second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and will look forward to returning again soon.

Four of us stayed at the Ivy House Hotel on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May 2004. We had excellent meals on both evenings and were pleased we had chosen to dine in the restaurant. The menu was varied with an interesting choice of wines. There was a good atmosphere and the staff were very helpful.
