Set in a characterful 17th century coaching inn, in our experience the restaurant serves excellent quality and imaginative food which is very reasonably priced considering the portion sizes; their salads are a particular works of art and are well recommended. We have only had lunches there but would imagine that the dinner service is also impressive. The restaurant is located in a compact traditional room with wood panelling and the service is excellent.
