Restaurant at The Masons Arms Description
A splendidly welcoming pub with rooms and restaurant, in its present form it dates from 1973 when Murray Inglis started improving the facilities from its original status as a Devon cider house measuring 8 x 4 feet. Things have expanded a bit since then. As you sit musing on the lobster you are about to relish, it is heartwarming to think that it may well have made landfall on the beach half a mile away. Lobster is only one of the many traditional and more modern dishes on offer, nor is there any lack of unusual and lip-smacking real ales to accompany them. However, should your imbibing be of a slightly more aspirational kind there is a handy wine list, starting off with house wine at £11.00.

This is more than having a bite to eat! It is a whole 'Eating Experience'. I have to say that I have not only sampled the superb food here, but I have also always stayed here for the night as well.
The food here is very good, with the lovely warm surroundings of the bar, sometimes seeing you 'Roast' cook away on the open fire. The service is excellent as well, with very friendly staff who have obviously been very well trained in how to look after patrons.
Price? Taking in the whole experience, almost a pleasure to part with your hard-earned cash. but take my advise, make a 'Real' meal of it, and stay at least one night. The experience is also very 'Romantic' in nature.
