Restaurant at The Ox Description

A good example of what used to be known as a gastropub, a generic term that has suffered considerable abuse and is no longer to be trusted. The Ox is in the top rank of pubs that do food in Manchester. In fact if it were not so obviously a pub it would be classified as a restaurant, and the prices very fairly reflect that. The menu is sophisticated enough to command immediate interest, without being demanding. The wine list is not the all too usual extended pub wine stock but a list in its own right with wines selected to compliment the excellent food.
