If you were expecting good pub food you will be pleasantly surprised. Although the surroundings are pub like the food is a cut above providing good pub proportions but with true restaurant cuisine standards.
A starter of Ham Hock and Foie Gras Terrine with crispy free range egg and piccalilli gave us a variety of flavours elegantly presented.
A main course of Daube of new season Boddington lamb, chop, liver, kidney , savoy cabbage and mashed potato were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit.
