As a local St Andrean I can honestly say this is my and my hubbys favourite restaurant in the town, and there are many. The food is always delicious and the menu changes regularly. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable.I would recommend any visitor to the town not to go home without enjoying a lovely, relaxing time at the Russell Hotel dining room.

We had a wonderful dinner on a recent Saturday night at the Russell. Having not made reservations for dinner, we simply walked in and, despite the fact that the restaurant seemed pretty busy, we were able to be seated in about 15 minutes, which we put to good use in the bar. The service and food were extremely good, with knowlegeable and friendly staff at our beck and call whenever wanted (but only then). This is a place we'll return to on any future trips to St. Andrews.
