Ah The Swan. Depending whether you can book in time it's either there or Rugantino's for a delightful weekend splurge. Take a glass of aperitif or wine in the reception with views over Green and Cathedral and saunter into the old fashioned, but welcoming dining room which can tend to be a little too cramped around the 8.30 peak time. But once settled in and savouring the Tournedos Rossini, who cares? It is highly recommended if you don't mind spending forty or fifty quid a head (with most of a bottle of wine each) for the weekend highlight.
