Restaurant at The Talbot
Knightwick, Worcester, WR6 5PH
The Talbot is a traditional coaching inn in Worcester with comfortable bedrooms and a peaceful location by the River Teme, and is particularly well known for its delicious food prepared with local and organic ingredients. The menu emphasises seasonal dishes using recipes that have been handed down from generations, interpreted imaginatively and created with flair. Sit in the lounge for an informal meal, or maybe the restaurant if you're looking for a quiet evening, with the garden and patio to serve you well on more balmy days. For starters you might find duck breasts dry cured with sea salt and aromatics, washed, sliced and served with red onion marmalade, followed by a main course of oven baked brill fillet served with stir fried garden greens. The Talbot is a traditional coaching inn in Worcester with comfortable bedrooms and a peaceful location by the River Teme, and is particularly well known for its delicious food prepared with local and organic ingredients. REVIEWS OF Restaurant at The Talbot
Gill (11 January 2005)
This restaurant has to be amongst the best I have been to in a while. The food was excellent, the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant and the whole place had a real friendly comfortable feel about it. There were four of us who dined there recently, and I have to say, our husbands are not the quietest of men, but in a nice friendly way I will add, and the staff joined in our merriment and gave us plenty of information regarding the menu. We will be going back!!!
