I have dined there three times now with friends - each time we go, we think ‘it can't be as good as last time’ and each time it's been amazing. The atmosphere is great - open fire, real ales and a good wine list. Lovely landlady and members of staff and incredible food - we love it. It’s not inexpensive, but worth every single penny.

My husband and I ate there on our first wedding anniversary, it was a recommendation from the B&B we were staying at near Penzance. The members of staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the food was superb. The best we've ever eaten, in fact, excellent value. The atmosphere is nice; it's not too big or crowded, perfect.
