We were a party of 5 who arrived for lunch without booking on 25th -August. The lady who looked after us was very welcoming, set up a tab for drinks and food. the food was very good, with fantastic choice. However I would agree that the service was on the slow side, not the fault of the lone waiter who worked hard. I had the fish in beer batter, which I felt was the best I had ever tasted. We would go again.

Visited the above on 7 Aug.11 after have pre-booked way back in June for 19 people at l.00pm . We waited 2 hrs for a starter - bearing in mind that most people ordered the crab which they had run out of. The food overall was cold, very poor presentation and unedible. Basically, they could not cope - running out of food and more staff should have been called in. Disappointing and will definitely not return.
