The menu provides a canvas for talented chef, Frances Atkins - a member for many years of the Master Chefs of Great Britain - to show off her undoubted skills. Her cuisine might be described a classical repertoire with contemporary ideas, such as roast saddle of rabbit and other traditional favourites; local ingredients are used whenever possible. A good wine list with a house wine at £14.50. I just had yet another gastronomical feast at The Yorke Arms celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We love this little gem with its wonderful charm and fabulous staff - Francis Atkins is a true star. I could not think of anywhere else I would rather spend a romantic weekend with my darling husband, thanks again, we will be back soon. Julie and Paul Chedgzoy.

Service was exemplary and the food was wonderful - with one slight exception - the turkey was a little tough. Both the starters and the desserts were absolutely magnificent and the bread with the starter - was bread to die for - the finest bread we have ever tasted. Overall rating - will definitely return in the future - 97%.
